In Alicante, on 28–29 March 2026, the Salón del Manga de Alicante 2026 will take place. The event will be held at Fira Alacant and organized by Japan Weekend. Tickets are already on sale, and the official poster for this new edition was created by illustrator Essie Lop.
Main guests
The organizers have already introduced the first festival participants. The announced guests include:
- Hiroshi Kitadani – singer;
- MindaRyn – singer;
- Essie Lop – illustrator;
- Hermione – cosplayer;
- Kujalice – cosplayer;
- Hummy – cosplayer;
- Sara Vivas – voice actress;
- Carlos Ysbert – voice actor.
What the program will include
On the main stage, there will be a meeting with Carlos Ysbert and Sara Vivas, concerts by MindaRyn and Hiroshi Kitadani, a cosplay contest, Asian Cover Dance, Idol Festival, and award ceremonies. In addition, there will be a K-pop Zone with Random Dance Play, themed quizzes, dance sessions, and workshops.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy free activities and workshops. The official program page lists gaming areas, tournaments, board game demonstrations, pop culture-inspired activities, workshops in Japanese calligraphy, origami, Korean language, and other themed formats. There will also be an autograph area and a creators’ area.
Location and useful information
The event will take place at: Fira Alacant, Carretera N-340, km 731, 03320 Elche, Alicante. The venue is located between Alicante and Elche, next to El Altet International Airport. There will be food outlets on site, and visitors will also be allowed to bring their own food.
